ELECTRIX POWER 2009 Visit
December 24, 2009 - On Monday, 14th of December 2009, IEEE Alex SB organized a visit to ELECTRICX POWER fair which is held annually at the Cairo international convention center in Egypt. The aim of this event is to promote the network of experts, industry leaders and distributors in the power energy sectors.
The visit started at 6:45 AM. Dr Mohammed El-Habrouk (Power section, Alexandria University) was the supervisor of the visit. Number of visitors was about 90; Most of them were students while some were engineers and professors.
The buses took off at 7:30 AM and reached the Cairo international convention center at 11:00 AM. The visitors, then, took their time to take a tour in the fair and see the new products of many companies. The trait you couldn’t miss in this year ELECTRICX is the large no. of Chinese Companies participating in the event.
The visitors then gathered at 5:00 PM and the buses moved to their way to Alexandria. We stopped on our way out of Cairo to give the visitors a chance to take their lunch and have some fun together. After that, we all returned to the buses and feedback forms were handed out to the visitors. We hope that through this, they’ll be able to give us their opinion and comments about the visit, the fair and the visit organization. The buses were back at Alexandria by 11:00 PM.
Although it was a long day, it was very interesting and lots of fun…
