LoginThe session started at 04.00 pm. About 45 attended the session. The instructor, Eng.Karim started the session by giving an introduction about MATE and ROV, and talked about the market need for ROV engineers and that's why MATE came to Egypt, in Egypt there are only 90 ROV engineers.
Moreover, he said that ROV helped in solving the Mexico bay oil spill problem and that there are still some technologies problems that are facing ROV like communications.
Finally, he talked about Egypt ROV competition main points and how MATE would help undergraduate teams.
