IEEE AlexSB Projects’ Fair
Unfortunately, our studies are theoretically based without any link to practical life applications. Have you ever thought about trying some practical work? What about examining projects made by students not TAs or Doctors?
The Projects’ Fair is one of the annual events organized by IEEE Alexandria student branch. It is an annual fair for the projects made by the attendees of IEEE AlexSB courses and study groups. The fair includes electronics projects that were done in the Electronics, AVR Courses, and the Micro-controller Study groups.
This year, IEEE AlexSB has decided to widen the scope of the project fair to include projects from different departments, including but not restricted to: Electronics and Communications, Power, Computer and Mechanical Departments. Also participants from all levels and all academic years are welcomed.
In this fair, students and doctors are invited to examine these projects and ask the students who made it in anything concerned. It is interesting to see projects made by students by their own choice not obligatory in their academic studies. This will encourage other students to give it a try.
In the last projects’ fair organized by IEEE AlexSb, there were ten teams presenting their projects along with three doctors judging their work. All students -either participated or attended- gained knowledge and experience that will help them later on.
