IEEE AlexSB Members to Meet NASA's Sabrina Singh, on Monday   Published on: "April 30, 2009, category: Other


For the first time, IEEE Alex. SB is announcing the opportunity to meet with Sabrina Singh, a biomedical engineer, currently working in NASA.

Sabrina works as an astronaut trainer in NASA, who teaches astronauts how to use their suits during spacewalks. She studied mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. She also studied biomedical engineering for a master's degree from Emory University and Georgia Tech. As a college student, she co-oped at NASA. In 2004, she started working there on training the astronauts on the spacesuit. 

The meeting will be held in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on Monday, 4 May 2009 and hosted by Prof. Dr. Sayed Eid. Due to the limited number of available seats, free online registration will be available soon for all electrical engineering students who are interested in attending this meeting.
